K-2 Clinic (Coed)

DTAA Basketball's K-2 Clinic introduces basketball to new and young hoopsters through fun drills, games, and competitions. The clinics are held on Saturdays. Clinic teams are divided into two groups: Kindergarten and Grades 1-2.

The focus of these clinics is to help players develop core skills in shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, teamwork, as well as stamina and grit.

 

Location and Time

Clinics are held at the Delaware Township School gym located at 501 Rosemont Ringoes Rd, Stockton, NJ.

Kindergarten - 8:15am - 9:00am

Grades 1-2 - 8:45am - 9:45am

 

Equipment and Uniforms

All clinic participants will receive a uniform shirt. Players should wear athletic shoes and shorts/pants. Players must bring their own water bottle. All water bottles should be labeled with the player's name.

Players should bring their own basketball with their name written on the ball. It is recommended that players use a size 5 basketball, which is 27.5" in diameter.

Players must remove all accessories from their body before entering the court including: watches, earrings, necklaces, wristbands, and other wearables.

Hoop Height

Kindergarten Clinic will provide an adjustable portable hoop that can range in height between 6 - 7.5'. As the season progresses, players will begin to use an 8' hoop for those that are ready.

Grades 1-2 Clinic will begin with 8' hoops and gradually increase to 9' and 10' for players that are ready.
